In one line

Your books stay files on your own disk, your highlights come back for review and leave for Obsidian as plain Markdown — no account, no one else's server.

A free code for reviewers

Write to laukhin@dementiy.com or on Telegram, @dmitriylaukhin: who you are, where the review will appear, and whether you need the Mac version or iPhone and iPad. An App Store code works once and lasts four weeks; Apple does not let a code redeemer rate the app.

Please don't say

• that Beresta is free or a subscription — it is a one-time purchase with a year of updates;
• that the app is open source — the Obsidian plugin, the browser clippers and the data format are;
• anything about Windows dates — it is in development, with no date.

The full notes for reviewers, the comparison with other readers and the logo rules are in the archive.
